Ian S. Brundige

Ian…

is an interdisciplinary designer and storyteller from The Region working across media, identity, and borders. He has always lived in the space between binaries (urban Chicago and rural Indiana, for example). Now, he tells stories about them.

Ian is a reporter for The DePauw, DePauw’s student newspaper, and was an investigative reporter for News 21’s Unmasking America. Ian’s works in journalism often continues his study of borders, exploring topics of race, gender and the community around him.

He designed his own independent Critical Media Literacy major at DePauw University. Currently, they are working on completing their senior film and museum studies capstone projects.

Ian’s photo-journal Instagram account, @left.onred, documents everyday encounters between human nature and nature’s design.
